Enter Saturday & Sunday, August 6th & 7th, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

1. Premiums:
        (Matted)
            1st - $5.00
            2nd - $3.00
            3rd - $2.00
        (Snapshots)
            1st - $3.00
            2nd - $2.00
            3rd - $1.00

2. Judging will be based on:
            A. Photographic quality:  technical correctness
            B. Composition: arrangement of subject
            matter for best effort
            C. Originality: eye-catching appeal to the
            greatest number of people
            D. Relevance: how the photographic subject
            relates to the lot category

3. Name, Address, Class & Lot Number MUST be on the back of each entry.

4. Entries must be made in person and the work of the exhibitor.

5. All exhibitors must be amateur.

6. Youth competition (Classes 2 and 4) is open to those 16 years old and younger.

7.  No previous winners will be accepted.

8. Limit of one (1) entry in each lot per exhibitor.

9.  The Cocke County Fair Association will not be responsible for any photography entered for competition.

10. Photographs can only be picked upon Sunday, August 14th from 1 to 3 p.m.  All entries in Class 1 and 2 must be black and white or color prints at least 5x7 but no larger than 8x10.  All entries must be matted or mounted on mat board no smaller than 8x10 and no larger than 11x14.  No framed photography will be accepted for judging.  Please make sure prints are matted or mounted securely.  Because of humidity in the building, use only the strongest adhesive.  Flimsy poster board is subject to warpage.

Class 3 & 4 Requirements: All entries must be 4x6 snapshots in black and white or color.  Snapshots must be mounted on poster board or construction paper with a one (1) inch border.

The following classes are for 3 1⁄2 X 5, 4X6 snapshots, black and white or color. All snapshots must be matted with construction paper with a 1” border. Limit of 1 entry in each lot per person. Premiums: 1st place -$3.00, 2nd place $2.00, 3rd place - $1.00.
